How do you charge for your services?
We charge out our services on a time spent basis, as set out in a Retained Client Contract (see below). We bill clients monthly.
What is the minimum contract commitment?
There is no minimum contract period but the minimum commitment is equivalent to eight hours per month.
I am not sure what would be best to delegate to Caroline B – Can you help me figure this out?
Yes - Together, we will explore the possible areas of support and agree priorities. Based on that, Caroline will tailor the Caroline B service to best fit your situation.
What makes the perfect Caroline B client?
As you might expect there is no one answer to this, but in short we love clients who trust us to figure out how best to undertake a task, knowing that we will do so in their best interests. And with trust, comes open and honest communications.
Do I have to put down a deposit?
There is an initial deposit payment to establish the contract. Subsequently, we may require further deposits depending on workload or cost of goods or services we are purchasing on your behalf.
How do you receive payment?
By cash, bank transfer or cheque.
How do I know you are using your time effectively on my behalf?
At the end of each month, you will receive a detailed daily log of all the tasks and time expensed by each member of staff. We are acutely aware of when it might not be more cost effective to employ other suppliers for some aspect of the job, and bring this to your attention.
Do you work only in Hong Kong?
We are all about getting things done, in and around Hong Kong. That said, all our clients have at some time asked us to source and manage aspects of their life which are ‘outside Hong Kong’, from purchasing health foods in Japan to shipping cats to UK.
What work will you not do?
We are careful not to venture into advice on medical, legal, financial and other regulated areas. We do not do work where, considering the availability of other subject matter experts, we think it is in the best interests of our clients to use another party. As such, a core part of our job is connecting clients to the appropriate Hong Kong suppliers and services, whether a home dinner party chef, tax adviser or specialist painter decorator.
How can I be sure my personal information is secure?
We take personal information security very seriously and have implemented steps to make sure your details remain secure. The more sophisticated security measures are not something we talk about in public.
Do you work 24/7?
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm, excluding public holidays, etc. However, in practice, we do connect with Clients outside these times when matters require, and we do have a by prior agreement overtime rate.
Do you provide home-sitting services?
We provide property ‘care and maintenance’. For example, we can deal with maintenance whilst they are away, retrieve key documents left behind or make sure everything is ready for a typhoon.
I need someone to work from my home / office a few days a week. Do you provide this?
Yes, to retained clients in the context of the overall personal management service.

Yes. We are longtime supporters of New Day Asia, a charity set up to support women’s issues in Asia (see ).
